A 40-year-old Onalaska woman died Friday after losing control of her vehicle on state Route 508 near the intersection with Centralia Alpha Road, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Kimberly R. Peech was traveling east on state Route 508 in a 1995 Mercedes at about 11:26 a.m. when the crash occurred.
Peech lost control of the vehicle, which crossed the westbound lane, struck the ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its wheels, according to the state patrol.
Peech, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene.
The state patrol listed the cause of the crash as speeding too fast for conditions. It’s not currently known whether alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash, according to the state patrol.
The vehicle was totaled.
