A 40-year-old Onalaska woman died at the scene of a single-vehicle collision off state Route 508 Friday, according to a memo from the Washington State Patrol.
The Lewis County Coroner’s Office has notified next of kin.
Kimberly R. Peech was traveling east near milepost 13 by Centralia Alpha Road at about 11:26 a.m. when her Mercedes-Benz sedan “crossed the westbound lane, struck the ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its wheels,” according to the state patrol.
The cause of the accident was listed at “speed too fast for conditions.”
Peech was reportedly not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision. She was driving alone.
According to the Washington State Patrol, it is unknown whether any drugs or alcohol were involved.
