The Onalaska girls trailed by 16 at halftime against Raymond-South Bend on Monday, but the Loggers stormed back to win 56-48.
After allowing 37 points in the first half, the Loggers allowed just 11 in the second. The offensive execution improved as well, as they scored 35 after dropping just 21 in the first half.
“I was really proud of our effort in the second half,” Onalaska coach Alana Olson said. “The girls stepped up and played excellent defense. We started moving the ball better on offense and converted on some transition baskets.”
Emalie Jacoby scored 24 points, grabbed four steals, and hauled in four rebounds to lead the way, and Delaney Marshall logged 13 points and six rebounds.
Kaiyah Sandridge hit a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, and Renzy Marshall added four points and eight rebounds.
Onalaska (10-1) will play its first league game on Wednesday at home against Rainier.
