The Oakville baseball team’s five-game winning streak came to an end on Monday, as the Acorns fell to Naselle 10-1.
The two-time defending 1B state champions scored in five of the six innings they came to the plate, while Oakville (7-4) could only manage a run by a hit by pitch in the sixth.
Daniel Rodas struck out five in five and two-thirds on the bump and went 2 for 4 at the plate, while Koner Burnett hit a leadoff triple in the sixth and came around to score.
The Acorns will look to bounce back when they head to Wishkah Valley on Wednesday.
