Oakville’s season ends with loss in Naselle

The Oakville baseball team fell one game shy of the state tournament, as the Acorns lost 9-0 to Naselle in a district semifinal on Wednesday.

A win would have put them through to the state tournament for the first time since 2015.

Naselle took the lead early and slowly added on, scoring in every inning it came to the plate.

Dre Kluth and Joseph Charles collected Oakville’s two hits offensively.

The Acorns finish their season 7-10.
