The Rodas brothers had the game brothers dream of on Monday, as the duo threw a combined no-hitter in a 12-2 victory over Muckleshoot Tribal.

Daniel Rodas threw five no-hit innings, giving up an earned run while walking seven and striking out 11. Gio Rodas came in and finished out the no-no in the sixth, giving up a run while walking one and striking out two.

The only runs scored via walks and sacrifices, and when one was on the bump, the other was behind the plate.

The Oakville offense did more than enough to help the Acorns (2-1) come out on top, scoring once in the first, five in the third, four in the fifth, and two in the sixth.

Daniel Rodas went 2 for 3 at the plate, while Koner Burnett went 3 for 4 with a double, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Oscar Sanchez went 2 for 4, drove in a pair, and scored twice, while Blaine Cantrell also went 2 for 4 with an RBI and two runs scored.

The Acorns are back in action on Thursday, when they’ll host Naselle in their home opener.
