Just five-and-a-half innings were played on Friday and the Acorns trailed from start to finish, getting swept 22-6 and 26-1 in Oakville.
All six runs for Oakville (0-5) came on bases-loaded walks in Game 1, including four runs in the bottom of the third. Damia Tartios had two RBIs while Vivi Cruz recorded a hit and an RBI. In the nightcap, Cruz roped a double and Tartios stole home for the Acorns’ only tally.
Oakville will look for its first win of the season on Tuesday at Ocosta.
