In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, the Northwest Carriage Museum has partnered with local school districts, Raymond, South Bend and Willapa Valley and will be displaying student American flag artwork from June through September.
Residents can take advantage of a $5 admission price on July 4, with kids 12 or under being free, and view a historic collection of horse drawn vehicles and artifacts.
In addition, the first 50 visitors will receive a $2 off coupon from Big Daddy Don’s hot dog stand a few blocks away, a news release from the museum stated.
Adult visitors will also be eligible to enter a gift basket drawing, and party favors will be available for the kids while they last.
The Northwest Carriage Museum is located at U.S. Highway 101 and state Route 6 in Raymond. It is home to 65 restored carriages, wagons and sleighs, and thousands of period artifacts. It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
