No injuries reported in four-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 in Chehalis on Saturday

A non-injury, four-vehicle collision involving a hit-and-run driver and a parked Washington State Patrol vehicle was reported at milepost 75 on Interstate 5 in Chehalis Saturday evening.

An unoccupied Washington State Patrol vehicle was reportedly parked partially in the left lane of northbound I-5 with its emergency lights activated to provide traffic control. A white 2005 Nissan Altima following too closely to the vehicle in front of it reportedly struck both the vehicle it was following and the Washington State Patrol vehicle. The vehicle in front of the Altima then struck a white 2005 Dodge Ram and continued driving northbound, according to the Washington State Patrol.



The crash was reported just after 7:20 p.m. on Feb. 17.

Drugs or alcohol were not involved, according to the Washington State Patrol.
