No injuries were reported following a structure fire on View Avenue in Centralia on Wednesday morning.
Fire crews with the Riverside Fire Authority and the Chehalis Fire Department were dispatched to a report of a fire in a detached garage just before 8:15 a.m. on March 15. A neighbor originally reported there might be someone living in the garage, but there were no signs the garage was occupied by a resident, according to Riverside Assistant Fire Chief Kevin Anderson.
The garage was reportedly being used for storage.
The fire posed no threat to the primary residence or any neighboring properties, Anderson said.
Crews cleared the scene after extinguishing the fire at about 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the Riverside Fire Authority.
