No injuries were reported in a fully involved house fire on Shafer Road in Centralia on Monday.

The Riverside Fire Authority was dispatched to the fire at about 3:25 p.m. on April 8, according to Lewis County Communications records.

“The original caller said it was a fairly large fire,” Riverside Fire Authority Chief Kevin Anderson said.

The first-arriving crews confirmed that the building the fire originated in, a 25-foot by 25-foot “tiny home,” was fully involved and was starting to spread to an adjacent shed.

Riverside, assisted by crews with Lewis County Fire District 6 and Centralia City Light, fully extinguished the fire by 4:45 p.m., Anderson said.

One woman who was inside the home when the fire broke out was evaluated, but was found to be uninjured.

She and a second resident have been referred to the American Red Cross for aid, according to Anderson.
