No injuries reported after Centralia house fire

No injuries were reported after a house in the area of Gold Street and Grand Avenue in Centralia burned early Thursday morning, according to the Riverside Fire Authority.

Firefighters responded to the report of a structure fire at about 5:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of Gold Street. They arrived to find a single-family residence engulfed in flames and smoke.



“Fire was contained to the structure property with minor damage to a shed on adjacent property,” the fire authority stated in a news release. “No injuries to report and no individuals displaced from the vacant property. The cause of the fire is under investigation and the home is considered a complete loss. We appreciate the assistance of mutual aid partners Chehalis Fire Department and Lewis County Fire District 6.”
