A car struck the back of a Woodland school bus while it was stopped on Lewis River Road near North Fork Elementary School at 9:45 a.m. Monday.
There were no injuries reported and no damage to the bus, said Shannon Barnett, transportation director for KWRL. KWRL is a transportation cooperative that serves Kalama, Woodland, Ridgefield and La Center school districts.
A Washington State Patrol report stated that the bus and the other vehicle, a 2007 Toyota RAV4, both had reportable damage.
State troopers released the bus to continue to Woodland High School soon after the accident, Barnett said.
About 40 students were on board at the time.
Police are seeking to charge Lyndzie Robinson, 27, of Woodland, with following the bus too closely, which was the cause of the accident, according to the report.
