New Arbor Health Clinic Opens in Packwood

No longer will every Packwood resident seeking in-person care need to travel to Randle and beyond.

Arbor Health, the organization that runs Morton Hospital, opened a new clinic in Lewis County’s easternmost town this week. Located at 13052 U.S. Highway 12, the primary care facility will be open four days a week and will initially be staffed by one full-time medical provider with support staff.

Jason Whitney, ARNP, was hired to be the primary medical provider last summer.

“He comes to the position with a wealth of experience in both pediatric and adult family medicine,” stated Arbor Health in a news release at the time.

Supply chain issues in construction delayed the opening of the new building by about five months before the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday of this week.

Arbor Health is the parent organization of Morton Hospital, Rapid Care Clinic and the Morton, Mossyrock and Randle primary care clinics. For more information, visit https://www.myarborhealth.org/.
