In an effort to celebrate local farmers and food producers, Nature Nurture Farmacy will be holding the “Yes We CAN” celebration dinner on Saturday, March 30, at the Twin Cities Senior Center.

Just south of the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds, the Twin Cities Senior Center is located at 2545 N. National Ave. The dinner will run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. according to a news release from Nature Nurture Farmacy.

“This will be an evening to showcase local food, nutrition programs and farmer opportunities,” Stephanie Eschenwald, of Nature Nurture Farmacy, said in the release. “Let's connect to increase access to healthy food and, in turn, build better community health.”

The dinner is also being held to support Nature Nurture Farmacy’s “Food is Medicine” project. Local farmers, food producers, grocers, markets, food banks, food access programs, chefs and restaurants focusing on local food, community and school garden tenders are all invited to gather and network.

The event is for those 21 and older. Tickets are $25 per person, with sponsorship opportunities available as well. Tickets can be purchased online at https://bit.ly/49XWq0R

Free tickets for farmers are available thanks to a sponsorship from the Northwest Agriculture Business Center, but they are limited.

For information on how to obtain a ticket, volunteer or donate food for the event, email Nature Nurture Farmacy at info@naturenurturefarmacy.org.
