It was a good ole fashion mollywhopping put on by the Tigers on Wednesday night, putting up 90-plus points for the third time this season in a 97-47 verdict over the Ducks in a C2BL contest in Toutle.
Napavine (12-3, 9-2 C2BL) has won four in a row and all by at least 25 points. It’s also the third instance in which the final margin was by at least 50 points. The Tigers were scorching hot from the field, shooting 59 percent from the field and 62 percent from downtown.
Hudson Chambers did most of his damage from 3-point territory with six of them for a game-high 22 points. Eric Bullock didn’t miss from the field and added 18 points while Tyler Watson (13), Beckett Landram (12), Tyce Vigre (11) and Layton Griffith (11) all were in double figures.
Watson finished with a team-best seven rebounds and Bullock had seven assists. Napavine takes on Rainier on Friday night, which opens a stretch of four of its final five games at home.
