The Mountaineers (6-0, 3-0 C2BL) led 21-10 after a quarter of play and then went on a 20-5 run in the second to enter halftime already up by 25 points.

“Rainier is a very well-rounded basketball team,” Onalaska coach Alana Olson said. “They shot the ball really well, and capitalized every time we made a mistake.”

Bryn Beckman did the most damage for Rainier, logging 21 points and three steals. Angelica Askey added 17 points and four assists, while Brooklynn Swenson scored 13 points and logged four helpers.

Anika Plowman and Haileigh Hanson both had eight rebounds to lead the Mountaineers on the glass.
