Authorities say a Kalama motorcyclist is suspected of driving under the influence after he crashed Saturday evening on northbound Interstate 5 near Lexington.
A Washington State Patrol press memo states Mark J. Smith, 52, lost control of his motorcycle around 6 p.m. at milepost 42, south of the Lexington Bridge, and came to a rest on the left shoulder.
He was injured and sent to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver.
Drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash, Washington State Patrol reports.
