A 72-year-old Malone man was hospitalized after crashing his motorcycle on state Route 508 east of Cinebar on Sunday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Marvin C. Warren was traveling east at mile marker 22 at about 11 a.m. when the crash occurred.
“For unknown reasons, the rider lost control of the motorcycle, causing it to strike the roadway and eject the driver,” the state patrol reported.
Warren was transported to Tacoma General Hospital. His 2003 Harley-Davidson was removed from the scene by his friends.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the crash, according to the state patrol.
Warren was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
