Mossyrock Wins 10th Straight With Win Over Pe Ell

The Trojans put up a fight, but couldn’t overcome the juggernaut Vikings in a straight sets defeat, 25-14, 25-11, 25-19, Tuesday night.

Four players served at 100%, and each player got on the kill column to contribute for Pe Ell. Alli Engel, Ava Bush, Payton Peterson, and Brookelynn King all served at 100% for the night for the Trojans.

“Our passing game was off, we didn’t get to set up our offense as much as we’re used to,” Trojans coach Hollie Briggs said. “We played hard, and we played our game.”

The Trojans next game will be on Saturday in a makeup rivalry game against Willapa Valley at 11 a.m.

The Vikings, who have won their 10th straight, will play Three Rivers Christian next Monday.
