The Mossyrock boys basketball team went down to the wire with Willapa Valley on Monday and pulled out a 50-48 win in the final seconds.

Tied at 48-48, Mossyrock got the ball down low to Hunter Isom, who was fouled with seven seconds left and calmly drilled both of his free throws to put the guest Vikings ahead for good, thanks to one last defensive stop.

Tyce Vigre led Mossyrock with 18 points, while Isom pitched in 15 points, 11 rebounds and five steals. Zack Munoz only finished with eight points on a cold shooting night, but dished out four assists, while Easton Kolb brought down a team-high 13 boards and Luke Cooper added four steals and four assists.

Mossyrock is set to take on the Washington School for the Deaf on Tuesday, then wrap up its week at Pe Ell.
