Starting on Friday, March 15, and going through Sunday, March 17, IRS-trained and certified tax experts will be on hand to help East Lewis County residents file their tax returns for free at the Mossyrock Grange.
Tax experts will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The Mossyrock Grange is located at 152 Isbell Road in Mossyrock.
The service is only available for those with an income of $77,000 or less. Those looking to file their tax returns are asked to bring their previous year’s tax filings, photo identification for all family members and all current year W2s and other tax documents.
For those unable to make it this weekend, the tax experts will return to volunteer again on Wednesday, April 10, Friday, April 12, and Saturday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, April 14, from noon to 6 p.m.
The deadline to file income tax returns is Monday, April 15.
