The Mossyrock volleyball team took the first set in Hoquiam on Monday, but dropped the next three to fall 27-25, 20-25, 24-26, 22-25 in a non-league contest.
Kendall Cournyer had a nice night on both sides of the ball, racking up 16 digs, 12 kills, and a pair of blocks at the net. Adyson Barrows added 22 digs, six kills, and two aces, and Leah Contreras posted eight kills and three blocks.
Taylor Schwartz was all over the floor defensively, collecting 44 digs, while Calliope Schultz dished out 26 assists.
Mossyrock (5-4, 1-0 C2BL) will return home on Thursday to host Adna.
