Mossyrock dug itself into a hole it couldn’t climb out of on Thursday at home, falling to Toutle Lake 52-32 in a league matchup.
The Vikings couldn’t get anything going early, as they scored just 10 points in the first half and entered the locker room down 20.
“We came out flat to start the game and it hurt us bad,” Mossyrock coach Nick Rashoff said. “We played them even in the second half and I was happy with the effort we played with in the third and fourth. We are going to have to keep battling and getting better every day.”
Maci Rashoff led Mossyrock with 10 points, Taylor Schwartz added nine, Kendall Cournyer scored eight, and Adyson Barrows rounded out the scoresheet with five.
Mossyrock (10-6, 0-4 C2BL) will look to bounce back at Adna on Tuesday.
