Brandy Clark, a country music sensation and Morton native, has been Grammy-nominated for Best American Roots Performance.
The Grammys will be held this Sunday, April 3.
Clark’s song “Same Devil,” featuring Brandi Carlile, is up for the category for new vocal or instrumental American Roots recordings.
According to the academy website, “This is for performances in the style of any of the subgenres encompassed in the American Roots Music field including Americana, bluegrass, blues, folk or regional roots.”
The 64th Grammy Awards will air on the CBS Television Network and stream live and on demand on Paramount+ from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
