Molina Healthcare of Washington is providing support for current Centralia College students who aspire to be future health care professionals with an ongoing partnership and donations, the company announced this week.
Molina will be funding scholarships to help ease the financial burden on students and their families, while continuing to support the college’s on-campus hygiene closet and food pantry.
“At Molina, we understand financial challenges can make it difficult for many students to focus on their education,” said Nicci Feldhammer, of Molina Healthcare of Washington. “We are thrilled to partner with Centralia College to support students who are working hard to achieve their goals.”
Molina’s partnership with Centralia College is “a key step toward addressing the immediate and long-term needs of students in the region, providing them with the tools and resources necessary to succeed in their education and future careers,” Molina said in a news release.
“We are grateful to Molina for its generous support,” said Christine Fossett, executive director of the Centralia College Foundation. “This partnership will make a significant impact on our students’ ability to thrive academically and personally, especially for those facing financial hardships.”
Graduates of Centralia College who are interested in pursuing a career with Molina are encouraged to apply. Molina offers a variety of career opportunities in health care, administration and customer service.
