Mineral Lake Lions Club announces 2025-2026 board of directors selections

Following elections held in April, the Mineral Lake Lions Club officially installed its new board of directors for 2025-2026 during a club meeting held at Mineral’s Lavender Passion Flower Farm, according to a Lions Club news release.

“The installation was led by Lion Mark Mansell, Candidate for International Director for Lions Clubs International, and Lion Debbie Mansell, President of the Peninsula Lions Club in Ocean Park, Washington,” the release stated. “… Also welcomed at the meeting was new member Jane Hodges of Mineral Arts & Residencies, sponsored by Carolyn McKelvie of Mineral Lake Lodge.”

Members of the 2025-2026 Mineral Lake Lions Club Board of Directors include:

• Steve Mayer, president

• Mike Gordon, vice president

• Tina Moore, immediate past president, Lions Club International Foundation coordinator

• Starla Mayer, secretary, media and marketing chair

• Dick Hopkins, treasurer



• Tom Searl, director, membership chair

• Stan Bartle, director

• Shawn Seeger, director

• Stan Chandler, tail twister

• Dick Suter, lion tamer

A part of Lions Club International, the Mineral Lake Lions Club was first chartered in 1952. Along with organizing and hosting the annual Mineral Lake Fishing Derby and running the Lions Den Campground, the Mineral Lake Lions Club also organizes other events in the Mineral community, including the Light Up Mineral Christmas light contest and the Campfire Concert Series.
