Michael Patrick Davidson: 1954-2021

Michael Patrick Davidson was born to LeRoy J. and Mary E. (Dosser) Davidson on July 24, 1954, at Chehalis, Washington. Mike passed away on Dec. 31, 2021, while living with his daughter and son-in-law in Montesano, Washington.

Mike served his country in the U.S. Army following his graduation from Toledo High School in 1972. He attended Centralia College and earned an associate’s degree in forestry and certification as an emergency medical technician.

His career began with the Centralia Fire Department in March 1981. Prior to his retirement as captain, Michael transferred to the Riverside Fire Authority at Centralia, Washington.

Mike will be fondly remembered for his quiet, friendly personality. He was a remarkable man of respect, honor and integrity who loved hunting and fishing with his son and grandchildren. He was charming, kind and generous, with a sense of humor and did not accept anything less than perfect when creating special projects.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, LeRoy, Jr. Surviving Mike are his daughter, Karly (Cheyenne); his son, Kyle (Jackie); his grandchildren Jack Michael, Austin, Andrew, Jill and Alex; and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters, Anne Randt, Bonnie Miller, MaryPat Brockman (Michael’s twin) and Nancy Durham; and brothers, John Davidson, Larry Davidson and Kenneth Davidson.

A private celebration of life will be held later in the summer.
