Maryann Twiggs, 80, passed away of acute respiratory distress syndrome, Saturday, May 1, 2021, in Olympia, Wash. She was born Jan. 18, 1941, to Charles and Mildred Rinck. A 25 year long Yelm resident, Maryann also lived in Sacramento, Calif.
She was a volunteer at senior centers, driving friends to different events and appointments. Maryann loved social events, spending time with family, and hanging out with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She also loved crafts and playing games.
Maryann is survived by her son, Jeffery A. Twiggs and wife, Marina R. Twiggs of Yelm; daughters, Terri A. Stage and her husband, Edwin Stage of Yelm, and Debora A. Hansen of Georgetown, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Florence Walker of Spokane, Wash., and Connie Foster of Fairbanks, Alaska.
