Once again, an atmospheric river is bringing heavy rain to Portland and the entire Pacific Northwest.
Many people, especially in Washington, are struggling with the impacts of one atmospheric river. Now, another is set to bring as much as two inches or more of rain to the region.
A map from the National Weather Service in Portland shows where the most rain is likely to fall.
In Oregon, the central Willamette Valley and the coast have the greatest chance of two inches of rain or more between Thursday and Friday.
Corvallis and Coos Bay have a 90% and 94% chance, respectively, of hitting two or more inches in about 24 hours.
An atmospheric river earlier this month brought 10 or more inches of rain to parts of Oregon and Washington over a 72-hour period.
