At approximately 6:08 p.m. on Friday, a man on a bicycle was in a collision with a vehicle and sustained injuries in the 1700 block of North National Avenue in Chehalis.
According to the Chehalis Police Department, the bicycle crossed in front of the vehicle and was struck before the bicyclist was transported to the hospital.
“They might have gone ahead and called for a Life Flight,” said a representative with the department, but neither the location of the patient’s transfer nor his condition were known as of Monday morning.
A Life Flight helicopter was seen transporting a patient from the Chehalis-Centralia Airport within the following hour.
