A repeat DUI offender pleaded guilty in Lewis County Superior Court to charges related to his involvement in a May 2024 rollover collision in Centralia.

Samuel Armando Isguerra, 26, of Centralia, pleaded guilty Dec. 10 to one count each of felony DUI and first-degree driving with a suspended licence. He also entered an In Re Barr plea to one count of vehicular assault. In Re Barr pleas allow a defendant to plead guilty to amended charges that have no factual basis to benefit from a plea deal.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Jan. 26.

Isguerra was charged in September 2025 in Lewis County Superior Court following an investigation into a single-vehicle rollover crash that occurred on May 5, 2024, near the 1300 block of Salzer Valley Road.

Responding deputies confirmed Isguerra was the driver and, suspecting he was intoxicated, obtained a search warrant for his blood. Testing done by the Washington State Patrol Toxicology Laboratory confirmed Isguerra’s blood alcohol content was 0.12 at the time of the crash, according to court documents.

Deputies also reportedly found a white substance, later determined to be cocaine, in Isguerra’s vehicle.

Isguerra’s criminal record includes two DUI convictions from 2019 as well as an active 2021 DUI case, according to court documents.
