One man was injured in a Sunday morning fire at an adult care home in Clark County.
According to a news release from the Vancouver Fire Department, firefighters responding to the blaze at 12801 N.E. 4th Ave. around 11 a.m. found smoke and flames at the back of the two-story building.
Crews found a non-ambulatory man inside the home and rescued him. The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
Firefighters said the blaze spread into the attic, and it took about half an hour to douse it.
The Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
