A man was found dead Friday just before midnight at a Northeast Portland Plaid Pantry, police said.
The man’s name and age haven’t been released. He had a gunshot wound when police found him at 6060 Northeast Columbia Boulevard in the Sunderland neighborhood.
His death is the fifth homicide in Portland so far this year, including one fatal shooting by police. As of March 28 last year, 11 people had died in homicides, as killings overall trend downward in the city.
