It took all of 26 minutes of court time for Onalaska’s Emalie Jacoby to stuff the stat sheet with a game-high 30 points and nine steals to pace a 73-33 non-league triumph over Pe Ell on Monday night at home.

Jacoby was 12-of-20 from the field and fired four 3-pointers. She also grabbed four rebounds while Renzy Marshall and Leighton Underhill helped in the scoring department with 10 points apiece.

The Loggers (3-2) turned up the heat defensively in the second half by allowing just eight points. Marshall joined in on the steals with six of them and three others registered at least two. They outscored the Trojans by 22 in the last two quarters.

“This is the first game this season where we kept up our defensive intensity all four quarters,” Onalaska head coach Alana Olson said. “It was another great team win.”

Pe Ell (1-3) has lost three straight since winning its season opener. Peyton Zock notched 10 points while Karli Phelps added nine. The Trojans will look to get back in the win column on Tuesday versus Willapa Valley while the Loggers face Toutle Lake in a non-league game on Thursday.
