The Onalaska volleyball team earned its third straight league win on Tuesday, sweeping Adna 25-11, 25-11, 25-18 for a road win.

Emalie Jacoby led the Loggers with 12 kills, seven assists, and six digs, while Faith Hammer added a whopping eight aces along with five kills. Sommer Hammer also finished with five kills, and she also logged a pair of blocks.

“We were a little unfocused tonight, but we were able to get the job done,” Onalaska coach Susan Gordon said. “Sommer played very well tonight. Faith came in and served great tonight, and Emalie was consistent all night in all aspects of her game as well.”

Ellie Jacoby finished with 10 digs, Capri McGraw added six, and Braelyn Babb added 10.

For Adna, Carmen Chapman tallied six kills, three blocks, and a dig, while Ella Nicholson added five digs and three kills.

Kamryn Freeman finished with three kills and two digs, Shelby Eixenberger logged three digs and a kill, and Emma Kissner collected three kills, a dig, and an ace.

Taylor Johnson dished out 19 assists while also picking up two digs, and Presley Strodemier ended her outing with four digs.

Adna coach Wendie Dotson said that a late lineup change, a theme for Tuesday games this season, forced some players into some different roles, but she added she’s proud of the way her group has continued to battle through the late adjustments.

“These girls are working hard to overcome season obstacles,” Dotson said. “They continue to work through adversity and are staying positive and accepting these roles. I am happy with how they have kept going and supporting each other. We will continue to work on the little things to get better.”

Adna (6-7, 0-3 C2BL) will host Toledo on Thursday, while Onalaska (10-1, 3-0 C2BL) will head to Mossyrock next Tuesday, Oct. 20.
