Loggers Outdistance T-Wolves in League Opener

Onalaska senior Callie Lawrence scored a game-high 10 points and Onalaska tacked on a league victory with a 42-22 win over Morton-White Pass at Morton High School on Saturday.

Logger junior Morgan added nine points, while sophomore Dakota Hamilton and Cierra Russ each added seven points as Onalaska secured its sixth win in seven games. The Loggers won the rebound battle 45-30.

The Timberwolves were led by Natalia Armstrong’s team-high eight points, while Emarey Hampton hauled in a team-high 10 rebounds to go with four points.

Morton-White Pass (2-3, 0-1 C2BL) travels to Class 1A Eatonville for a 7 p.m. matchup on Monday. Onalaska (6-2, 1-0 C2BL) heads to Pacific 2B League’s South Bend for a 7 p.m. contest on Dec. 23.
