Loggers bury Spartans in blowout victory

The Onalaska girls soccer team got on the board quickly and never looked back on Monday, running away with a 9-0 victory over Forks.

The Loggers have now won five games in a row, with four of them coming by the mercy rule.

Oleana Rimmereid opened the scoring in just the third minute of the game, and the Loggers added three in a 10-minute span later in the half before Greta Oien scored just before the halftime whistle.

Jaelyn Auman added a goal in the first minute of the second half, Oien added two more in a three-minute span moments later, and Kaiyah Sandridge scored her second goal of the game just five minutes before the game was called at the 60-minute mark.

Oien finished with a hat trick, while Randi Haight scored two goals. Auman and Rimmereid both finished with one goal apiece, while Sandridge added two goals and two assists. Leighton Underhill added five assists, while Maci Reid and Kate Zandell both added an assist apiece.

Onalaska (5-6, 4-0 C2BL) will hit the road on Wednesday to face Adna.
