The Onalaska girls soccer team’s postseason run came to an end at the hands of top-seeded Crosspoint Academy on Saturday with a 2-0 loss in the quarterfinals of the 2B state tournament at South Kitsap High School.

The Warriors scored early in both the first and second halves, putting the go-ahead goal home off the head of Hallie Kuske in the ninth minute, and adding to their lead in the 48th thanks to Brooke Berrens.

Hailee Brown made five saves on the afternoon, four of which came in the first half.

The Loggers, who didn’t manage a shot in the opening 40 minutes, found the offense more late, forcing four saves out of Crosspoint keeper Amanda Scripps in the second half.

Onalaska finishes its season with a 13-7 record. The Loggers will graduate four seniors: Brown, Jules Auman, Jaycee Talley and Guadalupe Ruedas-Castro.
