Tickets are on sale for a Saturday, Sept. 16, performance in Chehalis by local classic rock act “Soul Purpose” at 3:30 p.m. in what event organizers are calling “Lewis County’s Premier Natural Amphitheater.”

The show will take place near 280 Brockway Road, Chehalis.

Soul Purpose will perform classic rock covers and possibly a handful of original songs with a full stage set-up amplified by the natural acoustics, organizers said. Tickets are $20 per person.

Proceeds from the show will go toward construction of the indoor Lewis County Regional Tennis and Wrestling Facility, a partnership project between the Chehalis Foundation, the Chehalis Activators and the Lewis County Tennis Association, which is organizing the concert.

Attendees are encouraged to carpool and bring their own food, drinks and blankets for seating.

“Tall camp chairs aren’t recommended, but the short ones should work well for this location,” stated the event website.

Smoking will not be allowed at the event in an effort to prevent grass fires, according to the hosts.
