Lintott-Alexander Park Benefit Party to Raise Money for Repairs, Maintenance

Posted

From 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 30, the Chehalis Foundation will host a “Party in the Park” at Lintott-Alexander Park, 1101 Riverside Road W., Chehalis, to raise funds for repairs and maintenance at the park.

The admission fee is $50. This event is already fully funded by a foundation donor, so 100% of the proceeds will go to the budget for the park.

Attendees can enjoy beverages and appetizers. Music will be performed by local group “Guava Jam” and activities will be set up.

Lintott-Alexander Park, sitting right on the Chehalis River off state Route 6, floods most years. Winter storms often leave fallen trees and other costly damages. Fundraising from the July 30 party will support the repair and prevention of these problems down the road.

Call or text Jenny Collins, executive director of the Chehalis Foundation, at 360-508-6572.
