The Friends of the Centralia and Chehalis Timberland Libraries are inviting the community to an evening of books, community and celebration at the Library Love Gala, taking place Saturday, May 16, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the historic Chehalis Theater.
The Library Love Gala will feature entertainment, community connection and opportunities to support local libraries, according to a news release from the Friends groups.
Guests can expect a lively atmosphere designed to celebrate the role libraries play in enriching lives across Lewis County. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit programs, services and resources at the Centralia and Chehalis Timberland libraries.
“This event is about more than just a great night out: it’s about investing in the future of our libraries and the communities they serve,” said Friends of the Centralia Timberland Library President Hallie Ralls. “Libraries are vital spaces for learning, connection and opportunity, and this gala is a chance to show just how much they mean to all of us.”
Attendees are encouraged to dress up, bring friends and enjoy an evening dedicated to supporting local library services. Community members, local businesses and library supporters are all invited to participate.
To purchase tickets, visit the Chehalis Theater.
