Lewis County Young Professionals to host LinkedIn workshop featuring Pinterest’s global head of university recruiting

Lewis County Young Professionals (LCYP) will host a workshop designed to empower professionals in enhancing their online presence and expanding their networks.

The workshop, titled “LinkedIn Power Summit,” will take place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. March 21 at the TransAlta Commons on the Centralia College campus.

“The event aims to provide attendees with valuable insights and practical strategies for leveraging LinkedIn effectively, regardless of their level of experience on the platform,” LCYP stated in a news release. “Whether you’re a seasoned LinkedIn user or just starting out, this workshop promises to offer something for everyone interested in advancing their professional careers.”

A highlight of the workshop will be a keynote presentation by Cristin Rigney, global head of university recruiting and programs at Pinterest.

“With over 12 years of experience in human resources and recruiting, Cristin brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table,” LCYP stated. “Cristin has been involved with numerous university and early career programs at several prominent companies in the financial services and tech industries, with a strong emphasis on diversity, equity and inclusion.”



Attendees will learn tips and strategies for optimizing their LinkedIn profiles, mastering the art of networking and connecting with like-minded professionals, according to the release.

“Whether you’re looking to land your dream job, expand your client base or simply grow your professional network, this workshop will provide you with the tools you need to succeed,” the release stated.

All are welcome to attend. Membership in LCYP is not required to participate. Centralia College students can attend for free, while non-students can register for $15.
