Individuals interested in the LMTAAA or the Veterans Advisory Board should submit an application and a letter of interest by 3 p.m. Thursday, March 13, in one of three ways:
• By mail at 351 N.W. North St., Chehalis, 98532
• Via email at committees@lewiscountywa.gov (include the committee name in the subject)
• In person at the Lewis County Commissioners’ office in Room 210 of the Lewis County Courthouse at 351 N.W. North St. in Chehalis.
Application packets are available under the “BOCC News” tab at the bottom of the commissioners’ web page at https://lewiscountywa.gov/offices/commissioners/.
The BOCC also is sharing information regarding two other volunteer opportunities available, including the Public Health & Social Services (PHSS) Advisory Board, a position appointed by the Lewis County Board of Health. There’s also an opening on the Boundary Review Board, which is appointed by the governor.
Information about the LMTAAA can be found at https://www.lmtaaa.org/advisory-council.
Individuals interested in the PHSS Advisory Board position should download an application (available online at https://lewiscountywa.gov/departments/public-health) and then email the completed form to the BOH at BOH@lewiscountywa.gov.
