The Lewis County Board of Health is seeking applications for the Lewis County Public Health & Social Services Advisory Board. Currently, there are two open positions: one position for a medical provider and one at-large position for someone with a general interest in researching local health policy and providing recommendations regarding health matters in Lewis County.
All positions must be filled by Lewis County residents.
The 11-member volunteer board focuses and provides recommendations to the commissioners on a variety of community health, environmental health and social services issues.
Meetings are held monthly for 60 minutes. Members serve three-year terms. Upon review, applications will be presented to the Lewis County Board of Health at an upcoming Board of Health meeting.
