The WSU Extension Lewis County Master Gardeners have announced two upcoming workshops this June.
The workshops are designed to help gardeners of all experience levels grow, plan and thrive in their all-season gardens, according to a news release from the Master Gardeners.
On June 7, the Lewis County Master Gardeners will host a workshop titled “Year-Round Vegetable Gardening” at 10 a.m. at the Salkum Timberland Library.
This class will cover techniques for extending growing seasons, including succession planting, season extension methods and crop selection, ensuring a continuous harvest.
On June 14, the workshop “Designing a Garden for All Seasons” will be held at 10 a.m. at the Fort Borst Park Demonstration Garden in Centralia.
This workshop will focus on plant selection, layout planning, and seasonal maintenance, helping participants create a thriving and resilient garden that provides color and interest in every season, according to the release.
Both workshops will be led by Master Gardeners who will share practical tips and expert insights.
