Instead of another levy for the kids, how about a levy for building a new animal shelter?
Those poor animals are stuck in hell in an old, outdated building.
Maybe The Chronicle can give us an updated story on funding for a new building and who is responsible for dragging their feet for the past years of no progress on this issue.
