Why does Commissioner Scott Brummer use all his video ads on personal attacks against Mike Hadaller? And what is he trying to prove using decades-old issues?
Wouldn’t you think Brummer would be telling us about all he has done during his four years as a commissioner, like nearly a million dollars of taxpayer money wasted on his and Sean Swope’s failed lawsuits, or his overpriced unreliable hydrogen-fueled bus, using our limited supply of low-cost hydroelectric energy to make high-cost low-efficiency hydrogen?
Wasn’t it Hadaller and Commissioner Lindsey Pollock who led the fight against the hydrogen foolishness?
It looks a lot like Brummer doesn’t have much to crow about during his four years in office and quite a bit to answer for.
The entire rest of the county is being sold out to the Economic Alliance of Lewis County and its enabler — Scott Brummer. Look no further than the Lodging Tax Committee he chairs, gifting hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Economic Alliance’s Discover Lewis County while defunding the Packwood Visitor Center, chambers of commerce and the historical museums.
He’s also overseeing the spending of millions of dollars in experimental hydrogen buses in Chehalis while there is no transit service to Packwood on Wednesdays.
We need an East County commissioner fighting for us and the best for Lewis County.
That person is Mike Hadaller.
