KELA Let’s Talk About It caller: “President Trump does not hate anyone.”
Well, “our President says many things.”
I’ll wager that our stable genius “was only joking” and “having fun” when he unconsciously parodied William Shakespeare at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service. Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears. I have come to bury Kirk, not to praise him.
“He did not hate his opponents. That’s where I disagreed with Charlie. I hate my opponents, and I don’t want the best for them. I’m sorry.”
It follows that he doesn’t want “the best” for places where opponents abound: Venezuela, Gaza, Iran, Canada, Ukraine, Cuba, Greenland and especially America?
But he does have an odd sort of misconstrued saving grace that follows the common sense virtue of “keeping it simple.” Picture Wile E. Coyote falling off a cliff holding this sign:
“The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens.”
Let me rephrase this icon of our “USA!” mentality to expose its logic.
“The first duty of the American government is to grab anything that looks or sounds like an illegal immigrant and not let the legal protections of anyone standing on American soil defeat our duty.” Stand up for that! (Heretics claim that the Constitution applies to all persons, not just U.S. citizens.)
No warrant, no formal arrest, no charges, no probable cause, no phone calls, no trial, no representation or due process — just detention, torture and deportation. (Sometimes if they can prove they’re domestic born, we let them go after a month or two). ICE uniforms and badges are available on Amazon — have fun.
More from Trump: “You can’t have a trial for all of these people, we are getting some very bad people, killers, murderers, drug dealers: we’re getting them out. A judge can’t say, ‘No, you have to have a trial.’” The system wasn’t meant — and “we don’t think there is anything that says that.”
(“The system wasn’t meant,’ it was accidental … the founding fathers would be shocked with that news. “We don’t think:” Now… that does have a certain ring of truth to it.)
“We are going to have a very dangerous country if we are not allowed to do what we are entitled to do.”
“We” are entitled to make this a very dangerous country?
We are “entitled” to break the law as a means of enforcing it. Anyone who is hell bent on telling us what the law actually states is now viewed as a traitor who deserves death. Let’s “protect” Americans by converting that vehicle going down the street into a deadly missile by putting a few bullets in the driver’s head. Let’s protect Americans by parading our troops through public and private workplaces, schools and daycares to shoot, beat, tear gas and kidnap anyone who is not white and hasn’t a very good explanation for how that happened.
Obviously protecting American citizens is not the priority of our government — protecting the “protectors” from “domestic terrorists” is.
