Sean Swope is at it again. He is wasting Lewis County commissioners’ time and your tax dollars on his proposed Resolution 25-158, which concerns a non-sanctuary designation for Lewis County.
Why does this matter to Swope? Will the Resolution 25-158 lower the cost of living, create jobs, improve our roads, reduce the risk of flooding, increase our safety and security, address the homeless problem or attract new business investments to the county?
These are the pressing issues facing our elected officials. Instead of doing something of positive and tangible value for the citizenry, Swope finds it more useful to waste the commission’s time and money on trivial drivel.
How does Resolution 25-158 improve Lewis County citizens’ wellbeing? Or is Swope simply currying political favor by kowtowing to King Donald?
